Strands Beach; January 9, 2011

Location: Strands Beach, Dana Point CA, 92629
Date and Time: January 9, 2011 right after school
Air temp: 62 degrees Fahrenheit. Extremely windy, very very cold it felt like!
Water temp: 60 degrees Fahrenheit
Atmospheric condition: There was not a cloud in the sky! The sky was bright blue and gorgeous! Not only was the sun shining down, but the grass was green and the birds were chirping! Excellent condition to take a nice walk.
Ocean Condition: The water was very calm and glassy. There were not many waves and when there were waves, they didn't even hit 3 feet. What a peaceful gorgeous day!

Tides: It was very low tide, and the rocks were visible as seen in the photo.
Interactions: There was one lady sitting on the bench, and one man walking down the hill, but other then that there was not much interaction as seen in the photos. The beach was completely empty, as well as the grass area above. Very few birds were flying also.
I came straight from school to take pictures for my January beach blog and just never got around to posting it that exact day!

Air temp: 64 degrees Fahrenheit. Slightly windy. Water temp;
Water temp: 62 degrees Fahrenheit
Atmospheric condition: The clouds appear to be a combination of altocumulus statiformis as well as cirrus radiatus. Very light and wispy, these clouds in addition to the serene water create a perect setting for me to relax and read a book. As the sun sets, the sky is clear and beautiful.
Ocean Condition: The water was very serene and glassy. Few waves delicately brushed the shoreline and created a very peaceful mood. The water is seemingly more blue today, whereas on the weekend it was more greyish looking.

Interactions: I saw a few people strolling along the beach, but other than that the only interaction I got was with some birds.
